It would be hard for Rogan to be as terrible as Alex but he had him twice on his show last year (IIRC) and returned the favour by being a guest on InfoWars and it's not unfair to say he laundered Alex Jones a bit. He did push back a little more in the last podcast he did with him, but it was really mild. The Sandy Hook cases are emblematic, Jones got away for years with the weakest excuses and euphemisms with Rogan (or Coast to Coast, IIRC) when even Megyn Kelly did her due diligence on the shit Alex repeatedly said.

It's really hard to understate how ugly InfoWars has been over the last decade (at least).

My favorites are the threads where somebody just randomly makes an accusation of alt-rightness, often to get it on the first page for a derail, then you have twenty posts quoting it and acting shocked and talking about how they're glad they never watched, then somebody asks for evidence and it's ignored until later somebody digs up something obscure and twists it into evidence of someone holding an entire political philosophy in secret. Then they try to dogpile on the person who asked for evidence.

A top favorite is that guy they decided was a Nazi for taking a picture with JonTron at an event for YouTubers.

The hoops he's jumping through are amazing. None of this is about representation, it's all about checking boxes in made up criteria. The remakes are some of the best selling Resident Evil games, were recently developed, are full AAA productions and prominently feature female characters but somehow don't count because they're remakes
