For the record, I don't vote not for any strategic reasons but because I find it personally against my morals to participate in the system in that manner. Also individual votes don't matter and never will so I have no problem with anyone choosing to not vote. Systems where large populations abstain likely have issues that wouldn't be solved by them participating anyway. I do not consider the United States at that point and would never want forced voting established here. Sounds like a First Amendment violation too.

The Republicans didn't seem to care if I didn't vote in the general after voting in the primaries, but the Democrats will send me passive-aggressive threats to tell my neighbors about how I don't vote and warn me about how I'm harming people by not voting and so on. I want to continue receiving those.
