Off camera Deek talks to himself when going to rampages and never once drops the N-Bomb.

The worst thing race related that happens in the game is Deek mentioning that his Biker Club accepted black members just to fuck with the neo Nazi rival gang. You could argue they are weirdly political correct for a bikers (the game even lampshades this) but Deek and Booze are surprisingly very open minded.

TLOU2 on the other hand is boring shite that I wouldn't feed to rats if you pressed it in tablet form. It has far worse slow-walking for long stretches than Day Gone ever had and it has a lame hamfisted, contrived plot with the most boring and whiny characters imaginable. It was pure torture, but it looked great (not as great as Days Gone though, except it has better interiors).

Edit: I do agree that it is a lopsided coin that you can shit on specifically White media for days if you're either color, but you can't shit on specifically Black media if you're white. That Mississippi thread is low key ableist from the perspective of my 90s-early 2000s-learning-ass.  Kids learn at different rates and there's no viable way of measuring who is "trying harder".  An AP student getting an A isn't necessarily trying harder than a student in the mainstream class getting an A.

I took CP2 classes in high school, which were like a step above special ed.  My parents fought hard to get the school boards to get rid of weighted averages so that my Bs weren't 2.0s, and thus looked awful for college.  There were other parents also involved on both sides, and I remember stories of counter arguments from parents saying things along the line of "why should my kids have to be seen as equivalent to your distinguished mentally-challenged fellow son!?"  Thankfully, nepotism won out since my mom was friends with the whole board.

Not sure if it affected valedictorian and salutatorian though, but people in that thread still give me the same feeling as the parents hurling ableist slurs.

I don't see any scenario where a white principal ignoring long term tradition and the schools own rules does a last minute rule change so that a couple of white kids get those titles instead of the black kids whose grades had them as the likely winners has people less mad about that happening.
