Trump reversed on cancelling the stimulus talks today and wants to get a comprehensive stimulus deal.
His 180 turnaround probably prompted her to do this, among other things including the White House not disclosing any real medical information about the health of the President just that he's doing great and look at the tweets.
Now the Republicans have to decide if they 100% support this madness or if they would rather have Pence organize a peaceful transition of power to a new administration.
I agree that it could blow up in their faces though. Pelosi is basically offering the GOP an eject button and it could actually save local GOP candidates if the craziness stops.

The stimulus thing was really weird though, even Jimmy Dore said, 2016 Trump would've went with a 3 trillion bail-out and print his face on all the cheques.
In fact it was Mitch and other Republicans that didn't want to spend so much money on the stimulus. Trump repeatedly told them to go for the higher number.
There have been Presidents with health issues in the past. FDR was on his last legs at the time of Yalta, Kennedy had poor health but managed to hide it well and there was of course Reagan who suffered from Alzheimers near the end of his second term.
As far as recent Presidents go the biggest health scare was George Bush choking on a Pretzel and now Trump's COVID diagnoses.
