She is objectively NOT a terrible writer:

• Her prose is workable and often quite nice.
• She managed to write a seven-book series which increased in scope and complexity over time without major delays between books.
• She wrote multiple children characters that had some depth and complexity and managed to evolve them over time along with their advancing ages.
• She managed to bring a seven book arc to a satisfying end which wrapped up the story threads and was generally well received.
• Even her supporting characters developed over time.

Joanne (TERF bitch) has many failings, but being a terrible writer or a transphobe are not one of them.
