I had a feeling I was getting catfished so I took this photo to google reverse image search to try and see if I could confirm my suspicions. I found nothing, so I continued to talk to this girl. Despite that, something in the back of my mind tells me this can't be real. I went to look for other reverse image search sites like Tinyeye and Yandex (both were recommended by a reverse image search site) and lo and behold, Yandex got me the results. It's wasn't the same photo, but it was the same person since their nails matched.

I immediately tried out a couple of other obvious catfish photos that gave me no results on Google, and Yandex was able to get me the results. One of them wasn't a catfish, but the photo was flipped, but Yandex got it. Though to be fair, this person was able to confirm her identity, but I just did a test to compare the results.

If you don't believe me, try it. Go to this site and upload or paste the URL, then press search similar images, then select Yandex. https://smallseotools.com/reverse-image-search/ Hopefully this is useful for all the people here. I know it's not foolproof since there are other ways to hide your pics, but so far Yandex has been working well.

Fact is that superhero films are not written the same as award winning, best writing of all time, literary masterpiece level scripts and they would be worse off if they were. This idea that they are bad, or lesser because they do what they do is just posturing nonsense. Yeh, sure, there are some really bad superhero scripts, but there are many that are written really well in the style they are going for and it's pretty silly to just call them all "bad" or even just "lesser" without further elaboration.

"Their scripts are not any fucking good" remains egotistical nonsense that ignores their context.

Superhero movies didn't invent blockbuster entertainment, anything from JAWS to Indiana Jones, to Die Hard, to Alien itself *is* mass audience-aimed entertainment, not some esoteric piece of fine art.
You don't need to be bland to appeal to the mass and entertain.

And MCU movies aren't bad, in the sense that The Room is bad, or Birdemic is bad, they're finely crafted pieces of inoffensive entertainment, completely stripped of any personality.
They're not bad, they're bland and soulless.

Notice how many detractors of these movies didn't really have much of a problem with capeshit when they were represented by Burton's Batman (or Nolan's) Raimi's Spiderman, and so on.

It's not about being snobby towards superheroes, it's about being repulsed by completely insincere, toothless entertainment, saturating the market.

No movie is done in a vacuum. 
There's the argument that Jodorowsky's Dune dying even allowed for Alien to be in the first place, so you can point the birth of something like that to many different elements, i agree with you it wasn't Scott waking up in the morning and creating the thing out of thin air.

But you look at Scott's career and it's clear that Alien wasn't some kind of lucky fluke, even his flawed movies that people hate on so much (Prometheus and A:Covenant) are excellent in the visual and production department, with a very strong identity (or "soul" as the kids call it).
I wouldn't disagree that his movies usually don't rely on the strength of the script as much as his mise en scene, which could be seen as a compliment for him (or, his ability to elevate an ok script).
Though you even have example like Matchstick Men, which are just all around great.
