Why did they change the name of RENO 911: MIAMI to RENO 911: MIAMI: THE MOVIE?

Like, this must've been in the past week.  I saw commercials a week ago referring to it as RENO 911: MIAMI, now they're all like, "RENO 911: MIAMI: THE MOVIE!"

Word out of early screenings is that the whole thing is pretty funny.  Like, they basically filmed a more structured version of the show and did a lot of bits, and cut out the ones they felt didn't work.  And they could do it because they didn't have to fill the material they need for TV.

I don't watch TV or anything, and I didn't know about Reno 911 The Movie, so when I first saw mentions of Reno 911: Miami, I thought it might be a spinoff or a retitling or something.

Yeah, but THE MOVIE subtitle is the worst.  I don't think there's ever been a good movie that had the subtitle of THE MOVIE.  Aqua Teen Hunger Force did it right with MOVIE FILM FOR THEATRES.

I've never gone out of my way to watch the show, but this looks funny as shit and I'll be there on day 1.

Reno 911 grew on me, I like it a lot now. Kind of like the Venture Brothers.
