5 Academy Nominated Short films

If you have a theatre near you showing the 5 short films being nominated, you need to see them now. That girl and I went to go see them and they are fantastic. My favorite was one about a country in Africa called "Binto's Big Idea" it was so amazing. My second favorite was a musical called "West Bank Story" and followed love story of a Jewish soldier and girl working at fast food place called Humas Hut. It was hilarious.

My wife and I caught the live action and animated short films, along with The Lives of Others, this weekend.

We're now completely set for the Oscars party next Sunday.

Should we see the animated ones?

Which was your favorite live action one?

My favorite was Binta & The Great Idea. My wife really liked West Bank Story.

The animated shorts were great, I really liked The Little Match Girl.

If it's playing near you, go see The Lives Of Others, it was AMAZING. It deserves the best foreign film Oscar more than Pan's Labyrinth.
