I give credit where it's deserved, in his case it's for bringing rock music to the mainstream. It annoys me that people have the audacity to follow that statement by declaring he "created" rock and roll. They're contradictory statements. Elvis took the work of black artists, added a few things, and then released them as his own. If anything he deserves the credit of creating the "remix". Sorry Puffy.

Carlito's way was a pretty good gangsta movie although the "former gangsta that can't run away from the past" was cliche even ten years ago. Penolope Ann Miller looked stunning in several scenes. Never thought she had such a great body. There's this awesome scene where Pacino couldn't control himself because he wanted to jump her bones so badly.

Tomorrow I'll make a thread about these. That's from 1958. Although the environment looked like a very poorly veiled studio (it was as if they were just walking across set after set), that scene is still very impressive. And another cool thing: after the tracking shot ends the camera becomes this shaky cam-esque shot.

People here are generally more mature, both in demeanor and age. It's not surprising that someone like Drinky, a father of a little girl, would react the way he does to Lemurs.

I'm sure there are plenty of younger people on GAF who loved her antics, say in Junpei's case (he's 16). I can't help but find the attention she gets on Opa to be creepy, and you'd think a chick wouldn't want that (especially from the type of creeps who post there...). Clearly she likes the attention. I love attention too, but there comes a point where it goes to far and you "oversaturate" the market. Like on GAf; you rarely see me pulling the virgin card there. So many people like FoC simply couldn't let the joke character slide long enough. That's why I'm still alive there, and my clones are banned

Exactly. Topics tend to go to the more artsy sometimes but often it is about blockbusters, more so than not.

It's just that at OA and GAF video games are the "core" hobby. It seems that dvd's are far and away the larger thing people obsese over at EB which sets us apart.
