Still not as creepy as Soldier. Something about the porn on the wall. Back in the days when I worked at the cable company, out of 4 years, only once did I even have to venture into the "house of porn". Seriously creepy. This dude had it everywhere, the bathroom, the family room, the bedroom and the office. It was like being in Toy soldiers house. The guy had pictures of him posing with porn stars and strippers on his desk. His wallpaper on his computer was even porn, I couldn't escape it.

That was kind of my point in the first place...that even *I* am creeped out by Toy Soldier's set-up.     I don't have framed porn pictures and swords all over that.  I took posters I got for free and plastered them on the walls for the fuck of it.  I didn't go out and pay money to get nasty pictures I found on the internet printed out and framed.

Go and try to find male characters and show me what you come up with.     I have whatever I got up on the walls...there's a Sengoku Basara 2 poster with *gasp* two dudes, a Super Street Fighter II poster, and two Samurai Shodown cloth posters with Haohmaru and Genjuro. 

I freely admit to being a huge fucking nerd.  The difference is that the room I put all that crap is in just that, a dedicated "nerd room" for gaming/animu stuff.  It's not my living room.  It's not a "den."

Dumb shit's always been going on.  It was on usenet before forums too.  But GAF was pretty good up until around 2004, I guess.  Definitely went to shit when it became NeoGAF.  There are a few threads here and there I will participate in; everything else gets glossed over or ignored.  If you're not posting something flame or troll-worthy in a big thread, it will probably go overlooked anyway due to the huge amount of posts.

I had some pretty epic battles with this X-bot named Deadpan. He was a completely idiot, though I wasn't too far behind, and a lot of his argument boiled down to comparisons of technical specs between the GC and Xbox that and complete obstinacy when it came to giving credit to Nintendo for ANYTHING. Looking back, I spent way too much time arguing over stupid stuff.

I kind of assumed that the replacement program came to be in place, without giving it much thought.

I remember when PS3's nonreplaceable batteries were first announced, the first response by Sony fans was to start adding play and charge kits to the cost of purchasing a 360.

Taken in small disjointed doses, Savage Planet can be pretty awesome - at least while you're high.  I remember being at a bar in Amsterdam and they were intercutting Savage Planet clips with some nature show about iguanas on a giant screen.  Tripping balls.

But I agree, just watching the movie by itself is really kind of boring.  I'd still like to have that poster though! ;p
