While I still don't think it's very good, the album has grown on me quite a bit from the first time I listened to it and hated it. Christopher Owens' voice is just annoying as hell; I think getting used to that is the main hurdle. It's pretty front-loaded, too. All the hype around that shit is entirely centered on Owens' cultist childhood, anyway.
