DLC is as close as you can come to a tangible benefit when deciding which version of a game to buy, isn't it?

All things being the same (which is being generous to PS3, like I said to bud), it's better to have some new shit available than to not have it available. PD was not being a console warrior in pointing that out. Again, for someone who owns both consoles.

Controller preference is valid but washes out in an actual discussion.

Nothing you said makes your critique of PD proper. The only undeniable difference between the two games right now is the existence of DLC on one platform.

xfags haven't really been tested on multiplatform games -- 360 has usually got the better versions. but that's going to change to some degree, and when it does, be sure that xfags will keep buying 360 versions 'to stay connected to the xbl community -- or whatever

the reaction to ps3's strong 08 lineup tells you everything you need to know about xfag 'fairness'

I'll keep buying them since my real friends all own 360s. If we all start getting PS3s (which could easily happen), then I'll start switching over.
