Why is white the standard color for toilet bowls?

It makes no sense.  You defecate in these things.  Shouldn't a darker color be standard?  I could make a fortune off of dark toilet bowels!

Well i have a piss yellow bowl and a white one. And the white one stays cleaner from some reason.

Why are toilets made out of porcelain?  Why has toilet paper not been replaced with cotton candy?  You could eat it while you poop and then wipe your ass with it afterwards.

White is a color that is associated with clean.  When I sit down to do my work, I like knowing that my ass hair is not being contaminated by some weird shit (no pun intended).  I'm going with that for now.

I don't remember if it was my dad's parents' house or what, but I used to go somewhere as a child where they had a hunter green toilet bowl. I thought it was better than the white one we had at home.
