In Melissa's defense, she definitely knows Andrew more than any of us do (to what extent, like personally or just convos when doing Gamelife...I'm not sure).

That being said, making threats like that and referring to a public shooting that just occurred as something that he would do...definitely wasn't the smartest thing. And 3 dates with this girl? I doubt she knew if he was capable of that or not. She did the correct thing and its being handled appropriately (on the Law Enforcement side). As far as the media?...its definitely not surprising that this story is going to get extended play. Coming off the actual shootings...the media is going to eat this up.
