Each song is around 500kb...

Koopa is referring to the first battle with bowser, Culex is a hidden ff-esqe boss and Smithy is the final boss who has two forms.
fight against culex is a remixed ff4 song I believe, its awesome.

Culex is the best, but I don't remember hearing that song when I played through the game. My vote goes to fight against monsters.
