What TV shows are everyone circle jerking over now?

I pretty much unconsciously ignore any TV-related threads. I've never been big on TV. However, I'm bored, I don't want to sleep, I'm out of weed, and I have internet. Soooooo what's a series that's decent? Open to pretty much anything other than Lost. I'm also not sure if I'd like 24 from what I've heard of it. But other than those, any suggestions are good. What to download?

24 season 2. It's funny though, I've been pretty busy recently so I haven't watched episodes. I'll start against tomorrow. For the most part it's pretty good, but not better than the first season. There was a point where it really surpassed the first season but Kim's bullshit has really been hurting the show.

There is nothing wrong with L&O, well it hasn't been the same since Orbach died, but SVU is all gold.

My best friend and I watch it every week before Grey's comes on. My theory is that the producers actually tell the contestants to talk out the questions and drag them out like that to make the show longer or whatever. It annoys me too, but I like the show. There are no other game shows where I get 98% of the answers correct. [This makes me think I should try out for it, and if it ever came around, I would. Honestly.]


& Father Mike, you're right, the original L&O is kind of empty without Jerry but it's still good. SVU though? Is THE SHIT.

L&O is lazy TV programming just shit ripped from the news. The personal detectives stories are always contrived and only Onfario can pull that shit off with any emotion. The other detectives are better playing cardboard stereotypes acting off some good victim/criminal acting.
