And then there's the budget option of buying an inexpensive shirt based on the collar size . . . and then just never taking off your jacket. I would recommend the former route, personally—to anyone, hulk-neck or not.

One day, I want to go get some custom tailored shirts/slacks. I wouldn't want to use the internet though, too hard to measure with perfect precision. Would want to go to a good tailor and have them do all the measurements. Do most tailors do custom made shirts/slacks? Or do you need to find specialty ones?

most large-major cities will have a couple of shops that can do mtm or even fully bespoke shirts/pants/suits. keep in mind tho that a lot of them (mainly the mtm ones) will just take your #'s and send it off to a factory for a special run; they don't have the manpower to do that stuff in house. nor will the necessarily be made to a high level of craft.

i guess i'm lucky in that most off the rack stuff fits me well save a sleeve or hem adjustment.
