I accidentally cut my arm on a piece of glass from a broken window, so I bought a scalpel to cut the other side so it matches, but I cut too long and the scar is like 1cm too long and not as thick, so now i'm stuck asymmetrical forever

Depending how wide the lens is and shooting distance, selfies can be a bad way to gauge how you look. Perspective distortion exagerates things, body dysmorphia can take it even further. Just find your best angle like Paris Hilton and work that shit forever. Or find a way to be ok with yourself. Maybe the second one.
