Author Topic: well, my self-esteem is at an all time low :( (Read 2467 times)

As you know I was rejected by a girl yesterday. Today was a new day, though, and I had another girl in mind. We get along great and we seem to have a lot in common. She always smiles at me etc. So I work up the courage to ask her out, and when I do, her body language changed drastically, like she was no longer comfortable in my presence. She stiffened up and said, "Maybe, I'll have to see what I'm doing." Keep in mind, she always complains about never having anything to do. This brings up something I want to talk about. I HATE when a girl says maybe over no/yes. It's like I work up all this courage to actually ask her out and that should let me off the hook. Now what, I have to call her and see when she's available and it might all be for nothing because a maybe could mean so many different things. I already know what this maybe means, though. She was just being nice.

I need to figure out why I keep striking out. I must not be doing something right. :'(

With girls, maybe = no... just keep at it, dude. Word of advice: it helps to have like 5 or 6 backups, don't put all your eggs in one basket. I have this problem where I'll have about 5 prospects, but one of them seems to be going really well, so I put all my focus on that one and drop the other ones, and then things go bad with the one, and then I've got nothing. Single girls have like about 5 or 6 potential guys at any time, so you need to do something a bit to set yourself apart from the mold.
