Got my gift (Wednesday)

The spicy hot pickles were omg awesome. They're a big hit here. Had to chase everyone away from them or else there would be nothing left. The chocalate bars imbued with chili pepper are great also. I didn't even know they made such a confection. The chili isn't overpowering in the chocalate but it is subtle to perfection. Nice package topped off with a dvd and a memento of distantmantra's home city.

I need to know where the pickles are from. I always want to have some in the house.

I made the pickles with my mom and grandma back in August. I can get you the recipe if you'd like. The chili pepper chocolates came from Whole Foods. I'm so glad you liked them!!! You were a hard one to shop for.

I remember you saying that you had rented Robot Chicken Star Wars from XBL over the summer, so I figured you could use an actual copy to watch whenever. And everyone gets a cheesy tourist Seattle magnet.

If it's from amazon, probably two separate packages from two separate retailers? Just a thought.

I specifically ordered both from Amazon itself and not one of their 3rd party sellers, in hopes that everything would arrive in one package.

I just checked Amazon, and it looks like it was in a separate package. It arrived in Warrendale, PA on the 17th, so hopefully it'll be ah his house soon

There are two vintage electronica CDs (1974, 1995) from artists I've never heard of that should make for cool listening.

There's also a funny/creepy tissue box cover called "the sweating dog." But that's not sweat, my friends.

Books look awesome, I'm flying through the book that I was reading when I got these so I can start. I'm either going to read La Grande Armee or The Battle first, then Battles of the Bible and which ever book from the 1st two that I didn't read.
