Super stoked about the Beck album. Mutations is my favorite beck, then Odelay, but then Sea Change. His mellow stuff is amazing.
Also, after 6 years, NEW STREETLIGHT MANIFESTO IS OUT. The final album of the band (probably), the end of the album trilogy that took a decade to write. They're pretty much the Radiohead of punk/ska-punk/ska-reggae. Best of the best. Way too early to tell my opinion on the new album after a day of listening, but it certainly has some great tracks. Dunno if the whole thing will be perfection like their first two albums yet.
What makes Streetlight songs great are they are not typical in structure. They're long for the genre, have a half dozen different sections and the lyrics are frequent and very well written/poetic. Good stuff!
