It depends on the forum, certain forums operate in different wave lengths. So gbs is a totally different category than fyad or byob and different rules are made accordingly. Different parts of the board have different communities and within those boards you have insular communities. Of course the Rock Band thread is going to respond to your stupid ass posts negatively.
