Just a contributing writer for a couple issues. As "Rich 'Sez' Leadbetter" too. Only their reviews have names attached so I can't see what else he might have written other than that one.

Watched this video - I kinda fell off the Shining series after the Saturn, when they started moving away from strategy RPGs into all sorts of weird tangents. Had no idea about some of these games though (since a lot never left Japan) - 5 shitty mobile-graphics-looking PS2 hack and slash games?? 3 PSP games that resemble Valkyrie Chronicles?? 4 ?FIGHTING GAMES? An ARCADE HACK AND SLASH? Whaaa... and the new one (which I actually bought a copy for real cheap) is like some Tales ripoff or something. It seems that Sega hasn't a clue what to do with this license, they're throwing all this shit at the wall hoping something sticks, when it's so obvious that people want another strategy RPG with those classic Camelot designs... or at least remake the 3 scenarios of Shining III.

Who would even know such details on a leaker level? All these rumours of the last weeks of Silent Hill and RE and other things are suspect at best. Too bad there's no E3 to put some of that shit to rest a month from now. The likes of Eurogamer, Kotaku, Nibel and other GAF/resetti goons were also all doubling down on nonsense in the not so distant past, like AAA Starfox Racing coming out, despite such a thing defying any logic.

You'd have to redesign every encounter, which wouldn't be bad, at least it'd make more sense to play it again, but the game is 5 million hours of content, and they couldn't even port over a 2 hours game like RE3, imagine this one, but now they need to retune everything.

Good thing is that the OG RE4 will stay on the PC no matter what. So if Capcom prevents me from getting that version on say Xbox 2033 because they will only port this remake onto other consoles, well at least there will be some place to still play it on a modern system.
But hey I hope this remake is great.

RE7 lost steam in the second half, but the first half was great. It was actually really scary at times, like when you're creeping around the house trying to avoid mawmaw and peepaw. Way scarier than Mr. X or Nemesis. $:-\$

I don't think RE7 lost steam, the ship segment was good stuff and the mines after are creepy and alright and more action packed, but short. Then it's just the final boss fight which kinda sucked, but I'm not going to be harsh on a game that's 95% good and just has a lame final boss.
