I love the weasel words IGN use to leave themselves a way out should things turn sour. They're always talking about a "first person experience" and that the game is awesome for "PS3 shooter fans" and so on. That's a bit too obvious, if you ask me.

Still, there was this neat little story recap video. I appreciate that. Not like there was much of a story to recap.

What happened to squeezing twice as much performance from the engine for KZ3?

SMH at Sony for destroying the best part about Killzone by forcing 3D even when there's no headroom left. It's like when they made the already horrendously performing Lair run in 1080P just to prove a point.

They only had access to a bit of white noise and some sawtooth/sine wave generators, forcing musicians to concentrate on melody instead of overwhelming the user with whole orchestras bleating at full power.

I ~~cried a few manly tears, then~~ reminisced about my doggie and as a net result came out happier.

My dogs always had an awesome life and a quick and peaceful death at the end of the line. Compare that to what my death will probably be (slowly choking on keyboard crumbs in front of the PC in my underwear, with the only one even noticing my absence being the pizza delivery guy) and that's one hell of a deal.

WotS3 is good, but most of the sidequests are really boring. Game's a mixed bag imo.

I am all for a Halo CE remake though. Halo 1 with GOOD online play would be wonderful, since it's still the best FPS on consoles (just edging out Shadowrun).
