Reading a sentence that starts with "I mean, ..." makes my whole body shudder. As verbal filler, it straddles the acceptable, but as a writing tic it is totally useless and occupies the same lexical waste heap as any other junk phrase meant to approximate the cadence or tone of regular speech. If I am bothering to read something you've written at all, I already carry the assumption that 1) you really do mean everything that's been put down, and 2) in the exceptional case that you don't, the context is sufficient to see that it's sarcasm. Any other scenario must either be intentional misinformation or a failure to communicate.

so i realized ive been eating slightly too much since end of april or so which means weight loss could have been a bit faster and i did notice it was too slow

but i did rectify that shit so im not sure how to feel

it was slow (bad) but now im well on my way (good)

i dunno... i just dont know anymore

it feels like ive been trying to lose weight for an eternity

ive been eating clean for ages, vegetables, fruits, nuts

even on days where im tired as fuck, i eat well

i was afraid if i lost much fat i'd look scrawny, but nah, bodyweight exercises are perfectly adequate to avoid looking overly scrawny, which is great

also, it seems my stomach flab is the last thing that wants to go, i notice everything else get thinner but my stomach flab is like nah im good (Image removed from quote.)
