A while back had pest control come in and lay some bait stations around the place, been a while and I think the problem is coming back again so I want to rebait the stations myself. Problem is I didn't get the key for the stations and it's completely unmarked barring the warning and ip number. So now either I have to some how pry them open and hope I don't break them in the process or pay that company another 200 bucks to come bait the stations again, making sure I get the key from them this time.

Anyone got experience with this shit? Can I just take a screw driver to it and hope for the best?

I've started to listen to police scanners to get to crime scenes, fires, and accidents for stories to snap pics and learn how to make news. It's quite exhilirating.

I always wondered how photographers could compose a shot when someone is hurt or bleeding. I questioned if I had the capacity to do that under duress. I've learned from a few incidents, that include blood and the works that I can. The amount of empathy required to shoot the subject with dignity and respect while they're under stress is a balancing act. The ethical implications are inherently philosophical. You are constantly faced with a question if you should or shouldn't help. I think I'm prepared for when I have to take a picture of a shooting victim or someone that has passed away.

I've introduced myself to the local police and fire dept. It's quite a trip developing a relationship with cops. :stare

Some of my weeb friends commend Apple Music for their Japanese music selection. I slum it out on Spotify. It's not half bad in that regard. Japan has been a little behind the times when it comes to streaming music, but it's a huge difference compared to like 2012 though.

I have learned that there are whole twitter networks of people who follow and report this stuff, at least in Los Angeles. I dunno how many of them take photographs or anything. I have mixed feelings about following all of it, but my desire to know what is going on tends to win out :/
