the fucking tub is cracked. So not only does the inner tub have to be replaced but the outer tub has to be replaced since its basically fused together. To top that off its a front loader so its got 4 parts to the tub. I looked online for a replacement easily 500-600 bucks.

Fuck that shit I'm better off trying to get a new one. That'll teach me to have a warranty on the appliance I buy next. Granted I didn't buy this one since it was already here when I moved in with the misses.

So bore anyone had to buy a washer recently any good models out there?

One of my wife's co-workers asked to borrow her phone during a break, then disappeared with it for 45 minutes.  I checked the calls when she got home, and this bitch made a ton of long-distance phone calls all over the country.  What the fuck?  Who the hell does this?  She has been complaining recently that she thinks some of the people there are trying to take advantage of her (due to her lack of English, they think they can tell her to do the stuff they are supposed to do, for example) and now it seems to be getting worse.     She's been trying to find work elsewhere but it's been really hard.  I hope she gets out of there soon, although she also needs to learn to speak up and tell these people to go fuck themselves.

My granddad's funeral was today. Lots of friends and family came out, and me and my brothers/cousins were pallbearers. Everything was very nice.

Firstly my condolences, I don't even wish to think about what I'd do if my grandfather passed. I hope your family is making it through this alright. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Secondly I went to a traditional african american food place a few weeks ago and the special was chitlins with peas and lima beans. I couldn't shake the smell from my mind for days. But the chicken and waffles made up for that.

Oh wtf. Do you get bills that separate everything out? I'd add it up when you get the bill and tell your wife to let this bitch know how much it cost you guys. It sucks that she isn't a native speaker, because after working in the corporate world awhile, most people naturally become fluent in a certain level of passive aggressiveness. Personally I work for a fairly small business where I am one of a few managers over 95% of the other employees of the company, so if I want to or need to be a bitch I can, but it rarely comes down to that (but when it does, man, it's good shit). But everybody I know that's been in the corporate world for 10 or more years has ability to say exactly what they want even if it's the worst thing in the world but come off sounding really nice so you can't technically get mad at them. My mother-in-law is the queen of this. I'd set your wife up with lessons, but she'd probably make your wife cry with the nicest-sounding insult in the world. 

Just tell her to act like a server at a restaurant. I don't know how well she speaks English, but as she's walking by the lady's desk, tell her to say, "Oh, btw, here's a copy of the page of my bill with your calls from the other day/few weeks ago. Just whenever you get a chance to pay me in the next few days is fine, okay?! Alright thanks!" And then hand off the page with your personal shit blacked out except the last 4 of your phone number or whatever, and then circle the total of her calls, rewrite the number really big and draw a smiley face. Oh yea, and you have to keep talking without a chance for interruption until you walk away from her completely. That's a key element. It's like a fly-by passive aggressive full-on attack. I mean who knows if you guys will ever get money out of this lady, but at least she'll know never to ask her to use her phone again. And if the lady's a total bitch or asks questions, tell your wife to blame it on you and say, "Oh, my husband does the bills and he told me to give this to you, I don't know? He was just really upset. Something about long distance? I don't know?" And just play it off like she doesn't understand since this isn't her native language. Since they want to use that against her, might as well use it against them.

Ok so usually I'm Loner Guy. I do my work, don't get too involved with everyone else, and I'm typically Leader Guy's number two. This semester I finally got placed in a group with no natural leaders, so I took the mantle of Leader Guy. My group consists of:

A horrible set up. Since I'm not a natural leader, I don't get along well with Dudebro Guy who's basically an asshole. Very reliable, and brings animal crackers to meetings.
