mortal kombat sucks. i grew up loving 2 and 3 but my old roommate purchased 2 from psn and we played it and it's fucking GOD AWFUL. How did I play this as a kid? In contrast, SF2 still ROCKS.

The first one was amazing. At the time there was lots of debate among my friends about what was better, SF2 or MK. I've always been an SF2 guy, but I remember begging my mom to take me to K-Mart so I could play MK2 and MK3 secretly. It was forbidden fruit. They really didn't care about SF2; hell I remember playing it with my uncle and dad. But MK was like rap music at my house: banned lol
