Yup, that's Greenlake. Pretty much the central park of Seattle. My house is a five minute walk from the lake. Always nice on a hot summer day when everyone is circling in front of my place over and over and over looking for parking.

since I got a dog again recently I've been finding animal gifs funnier.

I wish I had recorded something my dog did the other day. We bought him his first raw hide bone and when he got it he was freaking out and so excited. running back and forth and hopping around as he ran. Then when I put his food down he took it over to the bowl and dropped it in, but it took up too much room in the bowl to allow him to eat properly so he picked it up, looked around a little and then dropped it under him, covered it with his belly to hide it and continued to eat. He kept thinking we were going to take it from him and tell him not to chew it.

Well, that's a pretty stupid comic. Some dogs really only like their owner. Some cats are very personable and want to be touched all the time. Some dogs are friendly with everyone they meet but still give their owner special treatment as the alpha. Some cats love to swim, play fetch, and play with their owner in the wee hours of the morning. Some cats are jerks. Some dogs are jerks. Some cats act like 'dogs'. Some dogs act like 'cats'.

Neither is better, neither is worse, they're just two different animals and can't be compared to one another as they're completely different species.

Cat people and dog people are both wrong. The only people who are right are people who like both.
