Pure capitalism is not a pretty sight. People need to get that through their heads and they need to do that yesterday. Capitalism is UGLY. It's about making yourself rich at the expense of everybody else, it's about getting everything you can and not caring about all the people you had to beat down along the way to get there. There's no sympathy, there's no compassion. People who can't work? Too bad, should have saved while they were healthy. Oh, you say they were born with a condition? Whelp, too bad, should have been born without it. Unemployed? Sorry about that, you should have went to college and got a degree like I did. What's that? You have a degree but it doesn't help because no one is hiring? Sorry about that, unemployment is a necessary requirement of capitalism, liquidity of employment pools and all that. Hopefully your turn comes around again before you get in a major accident or rack up a pile of medical bills. Got a job but it sucks? Sorry, capitalism requires that the bulk of employees to be at the very bottom, guys at the top gotta get their due and all that. Maybe if you were ambitious you could get a piece of that pie, but you'll have to pry it from my cold dead hands first.
