Oh, so now it was cool to grow up in the 90's? As I recall, it was just as shitty as any other age of growing up. Green Day was really the only band listed that was worth a shit. Cell phones save lives. Denim everything was distinguished mentally-challenged. Kids have never cared about anything more than popularity and sex. Punks were never the cool kids. People wore just as much makeup then as they do now.

Now, 90's sitcoms on the other hand were pretty fucking awesome. I'd still be sitting and watching TGIF if it meant that Family Matters was still on.

Bullshit. 1990's was the best decade. the best cartoons, great tv, great time for sports, great movies, great games, great books, great toys, it was a time when parents let us do what we want so long as we don't kill ourselves before the overly pc 00's. growing up as a kid in the 90's was awesome because no one made excuses for us and we were riding a period of time where we weren't treated like total idiots by the media.

not to mention the end of the cold war, the gulf war, the creation and rise of the internet, the rise of personal computers in the household...the 90's were an amazing time to grow up.

I spent years 5 - 15 in the 90's, so most of my important years were from this decade. Any person who says the 90's were a bad time to be a kid either wasn't a kid in the 90's or was born so late that the only shit they remember is pokemon and n'sync.
