Sorry but I think that James loser is full of shit.

I've had female friends, fuck buddies, exes, coworkers, etc. get stalked or repeatedly harassed before and the process usually went like this:

1) Guy usually makes some kind of pass at a woman, she denies his advances
2) Guy continues to make situation uncomfortable, getting worse and worse until it starts having a serious effect on her life
3) Girl (or friend or girl) turns him in
4) Guy acts shocked and hurt that he is called out on it and says that it is all lies or that people are distorting what happened
5) Girl kind of downplays it to be polite and to move on
6) Guy continues to not get it until things get very dangerous

I can't fault Nintendoll for wanting to stop #6 from happening.  This isn't a woman only thing either, sometimes people just do not get it and need to have some kind of action taken on them to shake them out of their fucked up fantasy world.

Again, having seen this a few times and having had women who just don't get it that I'm not interested, I think that James is making shit up.  He should get some therapy or at least make some serious attempt at reassessing your priorities in life.  Most men don't get accused of stalking and there's a reason why that is.

My gut is telling me that she's actually the one with boundary issues!  I know it's terrible to say and looks bad.  What are the odds that the sweaty asocial GAF-Male is actually not a stalker?  Okay, fine, it's a long shot.  But based on those chat logs and what she's actually said so far, I think it's worth considering that she resented his obliviousness and had a major overreaction.  Which is understandable, I've had similar freak outs in situations where someone is blind to social cues and is cramping your style and it is insanely uncomfortable to drop pleasant discourse and straight out tell someone to fuck off.  But now this dudes internet identity has been wrecked, probably all he's ever had in his cheeto-dust tinted life amirite?, so it's worth considering the less obvious alternative.

Yeah. You can't have the man be the hunter/chaser, which by the standards of dating they are forced to be, and then also have the rule that creeping/stalking is determined by the girl's interest in the male and yet the girl doesn't clearly state her interest. If you set it up like that, it's a total mess. James would have been okay if he didn't sound possessive with the Tyler question. If it was his play to make something happen, he was too attached too quickly, but if he was a real creep or stalker then he'd probably still be doing something. When ndoll clearly states her disinterest and discomfort by her actions, he leaves her alone(as far as I know).

You can initiate shit all you want, just realize there is a time and place. And it's certainly not lighting up her phone when she's not responsive. Is this hard? To not label someone a stalker without adequate reason? Tyler did that and you were defending it. Maybe unwittingly you did so, but you took a side that did some heightened things.
