I had to go through my Ipad and delete about 6 different Annoying Orange soundboards that my kids downloaded last summer. Fotunatley, they were all free, but loaded with ads and IAP shit.

i downloaded a vuvuzela app once.  once.  but it was free.   it's pretty smart though-- someone grabs your fart app, loads it up, which gives you ad money, they hit the fart button and laugh a few times, delete it.  Repeat that a million times and you've got money.

My kid started playing a F2P MMO and I worry they will click something stupid even though I've taught them about internet safety

Because dumb begets dumb. One dumb thread encourages another, and it's all part of a needy for attention and acceptance sort of behavior that drives discussion further into the shitter.
