The first legit Sony vs. Microsoft console warz thread I've seen on GAF in a couple of years.  2013 is going to be really entertaining.

To be fair to him, when he sees Sony fans acting foolish it's not seen as irrational. It's normal, acceptable behavior since it aligns with his views. The reverse also being true of Microsoft fans, Nintendo fans, Valve fans etc. The level of stupid is going to be ratcheted up incredibly high this year as E3 approaches, and these threads are going to become graveyards of gray.

Let me set the scene:  it's the beginning of a trailer for a fantasy/medieval movie.  There are some quick flashes before the voice over starts--an old man or king or someone reading the above post^^  As he reads, the images of a huge war breaking out over the land flash, as the strings in the background orchestral music build tension.  After "graveyards of gray" it all suddenly stops, a snippet from the middle of a scene where character says something poignant or shocking plays for emphasis (maybe "I'm an expert"), then the music releases again as the marquee reveals the movie title.

Pretty much. I don't believe in god but at this point I don't really want to align myself with self-proclaimed atheists either. When I was younger I was all about telling the world about how I felt, but not anymore. There's nothing wrong with respectful discussions but it seems like they're few and far between, and I have no interest in the never ending cycle of bickering. I'm an atheist to a degree, but I still feel like religion is a necessary and overall positive force in society. That seems to be a minority viewpoint and not one that many people wish to engage on.
