When hindsight tells NoA that localising and distributing japanese games in unpopular genres will certainly be financial disasters , there isn't a legitimate reason to do the contrary.  For reference,  Sin and Punishment 2 was funded by Nintendo and released worldwide.  Well made rail shooter with nerd credentials to boot.  Oscar may correct me but based on sales tidbits i doubt it broke 30k worldwide .  That bomba and other current market factors are pretty indicative of why NoA has zero interest in doing it all over again.

I think they tried this with Electroplankton.  Guess they didn't like the outcome.  I'm taking a shot in the dark here, but I doubt they have the facilities that could cost-effectively print a meager amount of discs.  I imagine they would have to let orders amount to the point where the money they make exceeds the cost of manufacturing the batch *shrug*.
