So i went to farm Hunter Helquist a bit. Managed to get a better Bee shield to spawn on the second try. It doesnt have the caustic immunity but it has a better shield, slightly slower recharge delay, and the same damage amp.

My issue is fixed. The problem was they hadn't put up the compatibility pack yet. They finally did about an hour and a half ago at least on 360.

Finally got to 32 and got my second turret going.

I was hoping to get down at least another tree but with the cap being at 50, doesn't seem likley

So I think I'm going to finish the game with Axton and instead of doing VHM, start a new game with Zero or Mechromancer.

I liked Axton fine, but not enough to carry him through two playthroughs.

deathtrap is useful in boss fights- but dies faster than a turret and is trickier about drawing aggro- you also cant retrieve it early to reduce cooldown- so if you pop it for a small fight you could be wasting it a bit. You also have no control over its path- and it currently bugs out on a stinging cactus if hit by its charge. The skills, while horrible MLP references, sound cool- so i'll continue playing as this character parallel w/axton

The gun I got with my key at like level 8 or whatever was good until level 19-20 iirc, so its not a waste. I didnt know about the rarity when I used it thanks to TORCHLIGHT II MAKING ME THINK GoLDEN KEYS ARE FALLin froM THE SKYYYYYYY

Yeah it's more a luck of the draw. I've used golden keys and gotten items that last 10 levels above their level requirements and I've also gotten crap before that was just equal to the stuff I was already using.

I think Michael gives better shit than the chest. But after pandora... goes through what it does... he's only there 10% of the time.

I think Michael is very useful early in the game, but my experience was the quality of his items dropped at around mid-game. I think he is also limited to blues where as the chest can give purples.

For those that don't know the slot machines give an orange for borderlands borderlands borderlands symbol but that's really rare. I've gotten it one time in hundreds of attempts.

I know the one in Moxxi's Bar won't give you jack nothing. Out of it, I've gotten one orange, maybe two purples, five blues, and about 10,000 greens and whites. Oh yeah, and about 100 of every skin. It loves giving you those skins.
