$15 million. The brand still has some recognition I guess. Even if it's just used as a fake 'brand' for a new season like Ballers (show ended a year or two ago). That would still be worth it. Or rebranded as a new Arena Football League.

I think that was obvious a long ass time ago.

What's fucking wild is he was penciled in to beat Bryan for the title at WM last year, but got an injury that only kept him out of action for like 2 weeks and instead they went with Kofi and Vince just...dropped Ali entirely. Went from "I'm putting the title on this guy at WM" to being in the Andre battle royale on the pre-show to being in a random thrown together tag team with SHORTY G by the end of the year to this year having all of 3 televised matches. Shame, Ali is an amazing talent, great in the ring and with unique promos, with a unique perspective and background. You'd think just for WWE's own love of patting themselves on the back for their own PR that they'd give him a prominent role.

He was supposedly going to be pushed as the "hacker" and after being moved to Raw recently, didn't he get a big win in a 3v3 tag match against the MVP stable?

I checked the results- when he was moved to Raw, he seemed to be in line for some kind of push, then within weeks he went to jobbing on Main Event. It looks like there was an idea for him and his fellow de-pushed pals Ricochet and Cedric Alexander to be a stable to take on MVP's stable (The Hurt Business?) that got scrapped.

Mark Henry and Ron Simmons' recent appearances were also originally supposed to be building towards a new Nation Of Domination, but Vince scrapped that too.

I'm not sure a Nation of Domination is great optics in the current climate, certainly not something WWE can do with any nuance or subtly because while Faarooq was dropping nothing but truth bombs in 1997, they were still treated as disgusting heels who were actually the REAL racists and otherwise just angry black men you shouldn't like.

Network is finally adding indies that they've been talking about doing for 3 years now.

Evolve, Progress, ICW, WXW. At first it seems like it's going to be selected events or collections of specific wrestlers like an EVOLVE collection of Drew McIntyre and Keith Lee matches. WXW is Walter's promotion and it seems like on paper there's a bunch of great matches going on over there all the time but they don't make it to the internet as readily as other indies for whatever reason, so that will be neat to see some of those Walter/Thatcher tags.
