3MB owned, Braun was amazing and I hope he gets a singles match with Brock at SS and not some shitty B PPV that's one brand only.

Quick run down of SS:

6 man tag: Whatever, inoffensive, weird to do it SO early when there were more people trying to get into the building than actually in the building

Tozawa vs Neville: Good match, some really cool and brutal spots, the king reigns again 

Usos vs New Day: 6 stars, fucking awesome, Young Bucks wish they could use the Superkick Party as effectively 

Cena vs Corbin: Pretty good, they had a lot of chemistry, Cena seemed extra peppy to berry the Lone Woof 

Naomi vs Nattie: Pretty good, surprised at the completely clean win for Nattie after they made custom title for Naomi

Cass vs Show: Surprisingly solid. Good selling from show, a solid story to the match, it was perfectly fine. Enzo's 10 minute promo before the match, however, 

Orton vs Rusev:

Sasha vs Alexa: I see a lot of people saying this was just terrible, wasn't Bayley vs Sasha/Asuka vs Ember etc, but it was good. Very heated and stiff, good selling and neat finish from Sasha.

Balor vs Wyatt: Complete waste of time. Crowd was DEAD after the entrance. That's clearly all they wanted to see. At least Balor now does something different when in the paint: Growl a lot 

Shield vs Cesaro/Sheamus: Pretty much a waste of time, too. Crowds were SO hot for Dean and Seth to reunite on Raw, but then didn't care at all in the match. Crowd was dead for 90% of it, a beach ball was the most over performer, and Cesaro's popping of it being praised as the greatest thing is sad because we're now in an era where people don't remember heels that would rip signs or fuck with fans.

AJ vs KO: Another good match between them, Shane's bumps were hilarious, telegraphed his shit even more than Earl Hebner, and both guys giving him shit for selling them so much when he falls off buildings was funny. That said, they've had like 10 matches in the past 2 months, so it's time to wrap that feud up and have them move on.

Jinder vs Nak: Decent, but man the idea of Jinder beating Nakamura is  if just for how mad nerds are. I'm sure every message board is flipping out about "stealing" Nak from NJPW and 5 star matches just to have him lose to a jobber, because DIE VINCE/INDIA/STEROIDS/etc. I support Juicy Jinder. I will be happy for him as long as they keep the belt on him even if it is 2 years.

Joe vs Braun vs Brock vs Roman: Fucking awesome. Exactly what everyone hoped for. Braun vs Brock must happen.



So, it was a good show. I enjoyed it more than Takeover, tbh. The only real issue is that it was 5 hours long with the pre show matches, and that's too god damn much, but no one complains when Wrestle Kingdom is 5 hours long and has 3 hours of filler

"Juicy Jinder" 

I probably need to go back and re-watch this PPV since I missed the matches on the pre-show and a good chunk of matches after the first hour or so.  Saw bits and pieces of everything- was Orton/Rusev like 10 seconds and Nak/Jinder like two minutes?  The hell...?

My problem with Jinder is that his character is so fucking boring.  I'm tired of the gimmick of guys being angry bitter heels because they're from another country.  I'd like it so much better if Jinder was all 'Bollywood' and came out smiling and proclaiming how amazing India is, kind of like how Bo Dallas used to have the super-positive heel gimmick.

Any reasonable person would like Roman more than post-Suplex City Brock, though.

The pre match video for Nak/Jinder was awesome and if you didn't know anything about either guy, you'd think they were both superstars representing their countries and you should root for both. I think people would have bought a Jinder face run, he has a great story and he's a super likable dude. Bollywood entrance at WM

The experience was great and the energy in the arena awesome. I've seen some people comment that the crowd was dead multiple times throughout the night... but that wasn't my experience for the most part.

The show itself... it was fine overall. Some duds and some standouts. The best moment of the night was when Braun flipped the table onto Brock. The crowd was nuts.

Takeover was solid, Summerslam was mostly great.

People complaining that Vince only wants big guys and that there's more to wrestling are liars. That four-way main event was hot hot hot. God DAMN. And it was all brought to you by the power of height and muscle. Big dudes forever.

Loved Jinder keeping the dream alive. Nak looked a little less lazy than usual, so that's nice. I was thinking the other day over in Japan and even since he's been here he hasn't had to deal with interference too much. Plus, it's too early to put the belt on Nak America. Not that I have any knowledge, but you know.

It felt good to be able to Boo Reigns live. He really sucked butt in that match. Every time he was in the spotlight the match dragged.

And Joe did fuck-all as well. The only two things that came out of the main event was Braun being awesome and Brock's expert selling.

As much as I didn't care about McIntyre/Roode at Takeover, Roode did real good, and it was a decent match. He's like another Kane. Just rely on him for solid matches, rarely spectacular.
