I read that The Revival weren't allowed out of their contracts and Maria was on Twitter or whatever denying everything. Ronda too. Itami is apparently already done and gone from the company as of today.

Watched part of 205 Live for the first time ever on Tuesday night. Mike Kanellis vs...uh...I forget already- one of the Lucha Underground dudes. It didn't even matter because the focus was entirely on Maria and what she was saying on commentary. Mike was boring as hell and I stopped watching after a few minutes. Interesting that Drake Maverick is still the 205 GM when they got rid of that on Raw and SD, but I guess no1curr. Saw some faces in the intro montage who I forgot were still with the WWE like Brian Kendrick and TJ Perkins.

They should end 205 Live and replace it with a women's-only show or something.

Ronda isn't even leaving, she wants to start a family and will come back after that, and if she doesn't get pregnant she'll back sooner.

The rest....no, not really. No single talent is going to be an actual loss for WWE. They've gone out of their way in the past like 8 years to make the brand of WWE the draw, not any individual talent specifically to avoid situations of a top guy going down tanking everything. The Revival and tag wrestling hasn't meant SHIT to main line WWE, so any team leaving beyond the merch money that wouldn't be made with New Day leaving means nothing. Itami's entire run has been a disaster, of course no cruiserweight leaving will mean shit either. Ambrose is trash and has been trash his entire singles run, WWE didn't miss a beat without him when he was out hurt and people were tired of him a month after he returned. The only guy that's been involved in more all time worst trash in the past 5 years is Bray Wyatt, and when they had a 6 month feud....

TLDR: No

EDIT: I guess it is worth nothing that "Maria and Mike Kanellis request their releases" was also reported a bunch, yet here they are on TV. Anyway, 205 usually has genuinely great main events every other week, but their undercard stuff is almost always dreadfully boring and drawn out in front of dead as can be crowds to make it seem even worse. If there's a gimmick match in the main event, expect shit that should be on a Takeover event.

Honestly WWE has too many fucking people on the roster; they could shed a good portion of it and use people that are languishing doing nothing (assuming they're not the ones leaving) better. Didn't watch, but looking at the results, there were five Becky segments on the show. Five...featuring someone not on the Raw brand.

The Vince angle with Charlotte is their dumb way of inserting her into the Ronda/Becky match. I don't think even the 'E is going to be insane enough to have Charlotte win that match. It's gotta be Becky.

Other than that? Who fucking knows. Almost all of the upper card guys seem to have no angles a month and a half out. AJ has feuded with every top guy on SD, extensively, lost multiple matches to the champ since November. Joe is always booked like a killer but always loses and decisively lost every feud, plus he's a heel and so is most of SD's crew. Orton is Orton and who gives a shit. Nakamura looks destined for the pre-show this year either in the battle royal or in an apparently unlikely duo team with Rusev against the Usos maybe? The fuck is Jeff Hardy up to? Rey vs Almas seemed like a lock but then they ran it on TV 5 weeks in a row. Neither of them were even mentioned on the PPV.

Then you go to Raw and....shit, it's even more of a mystery over there. Can they really do Braun vs Corbin bullshit AGAIN? No one gives a shit about that feud, at all, they've repeatedly added and subtracted Drew and Lashley whenever it was convenient but no one gives a shit about any involved and it has massively lowered Braun's stock. I'd expect basically the whole mid card of Raw in some kind of gimmick match for the IC title. But then what about the Revival? What about The Bar? Asuka and the SD Women's title? Buddy Murphy has run through the entire cruiserweight division twice over now. Did you know R Truth is the US Champion?

Now there's the women's tag titles so I'd imagine that will be another excuse to have a big scramble tag instead of two battle royals.

It sucks that Ali got hurt and taken out of the EC, but fuck it, they should run with Kofi vs Bryan at WM and have Kofi win the belt. They have something, crowds will be 100% into it, Kofi deserves his moment. If I'm not mistaken that was his first WWE Championship match and he's been with the company for 11 years.

I would like to see Bryan feud with the New Day for a couple months, hell bring back Harper and rebrand him and Rowan as "the Bio Brothers" and you can even have a stable vs stable feud and do all sorts of permutations of 1 on 1, tag, 6 man tag, etc matches with all the principles since that's all WWE knows how to do to book feuds anyway. Having a bunch of fun loving, merch hawking, junk food eating dudes feud with annoying Capt Planet and his brute squad would be fun.

In my dreams I hope that Corbin, McIntyre, and Lashley will all just sort of go away but I guess they'll probably beat the shit out of some combination of Finn, Angle, and Strowman because that's been happening for months and despite all the BOLD NEW DIRECTION we were promised we keep getting served the same boring ass subway sammich of these dudes.

Do they not even realize that they're just fucking up the SD women's division? The tag champs can be on both shows (and are currently Raw women anyway) and assuming Becky wins, doesn't that mean she jumps to Raw afterwards? There's zero focus on SD.
