But they definitely need to push another blonde heel because they don't have enough of them.

Also stupid is Asuka getting momentum back, pinning Becky for the title, aaaaaaand- nothing. Basically disappeared over the last month, then came back to TV to job to MANDY ROSE. Brilliant.

The reports are that Vince doesn't think there is enough star power on the main roster, Raw especially, and doesn't think enough guys can be rehabbed quick enough to be taken seriously again, so he decided to take the top 4 NXT stars and push them super hard right from the jump hoping fans will accept them as bigger stars than the shit birds that have been booked into annihilation for years.

That random/shock/surprise call up has worked out for approximately no one besides I guess Kevin Owens. Seems especially dumb to do this right BEFORE WM, throwing the WM Takeover into disarray, when there are already 20 dudes without angles going into WM, and the Raw/SD after WM is always lit for these kind of debuts.

Maybe the NXT announcement will be NXT talent will be cross branded and they can try to get the best of both worlds by booking guys well on NXT and then plugging them into Raw/SD when needed without having to disrupt NXT for months.

On the other hand, NXT has a strong backlog of talent that are barely on TV or haven't even debuted yet, so they'll be fine, but it seems shitty to possibly fuck up 2 months of already taped TV.

Expect then next "NXT Six" to be Adam Cole, Keith Lee, Matt Riddle, Trevor Lee, KUSHIDA, Velveteen Dream

None of those are a bummer. Two of them are blessings so no one ever has to see Tye Dillinger or TJP again. Itami is a wash, but NOAH isunder new owners and are even getting rid of the Misawa green ring, so this seems like a good time for him to return to helm the ship again.

But anyone that's honest or even watched KENTA in NOAH in the prior 2-3 years before his WWE run would know that he was definitely outside of his prime and the injuries had already slowed him down considerably even before the new ones he picked up in WWE ruined him. He was never going to have some amazing run in WWE, for various reasons.

1. He's foreign and 4 years later still barely speaks English
2. He's small
3. He had so much mileage on him that he was compromised for 2 years before even signing with WWE
4. He was IMMEDIATELY thrown in the bushes for Finn Balor
5. NXT exploded while he was out hurt, and many guys leap frogged him, including Shinsuke Nakamura (who was FAR bigger of a Japanese star in Japan than KENTA)

Guessing it's going to be KO vs. Bryan for Fastline and then something something McMahon keeps 'em down but Kofi triumphs storyline and goes to Mania instead and will win the belt to get his 'moment.'
