AEW should use this week's show as the template going forward.
Shorter matches that lead to something, remembering that they can actually let people cut promos (some for the better, some not so hot) to set up angles and matches/feuds, a vignette to progress a storyline/character arc, backstage segment or two, actually setting up and announcing matches for the next show instead of waiting until the weekend and tweeting some shit out. I'm not at all sold on needing to do immediate rematches when half of the roster has gone 3-4 weeks (or more) without being on TV time, but Page/PAC was how you should do such a match: Faster paced for TV, twisting all the spots and beats from the previous match, decisive winner and now you can move on. Scorpio Sky pinning Jericho was an interesting move, since there's not really anyone else lined up for Jericho right now a mini feud between PPVs could do a lot for Scorp.
I will say they're already definitely overdoing the wild brawl shit and lights going out shit. They've done both every week and did the lights out thing at least 3 times this week.

at JR calling Full Gear "Fully Loaded" multiple times and then calling Jack Swagger and having to walk it back.
