Dunno. I think it is becauce most of them are mods now or most of them left gaf. Most of us communicate in private tho so we are still a big ol gang now just in private. Only ones I'm not in contact with much anymore is ethelred, shouta, and duckroll. You can still see remnants of it on twitter though. Charlequin, Oscar, Aeana, and a few others are big tweeters. Archery in Skyrim isn't really that good. I typically play archers, assassins, and thieves. Bowery was solid but not great, as you say it is. You can shoot from a place and they'll be looking all over for you except the obvious location. Shoot them, and they're like,"what's that?" Still, it's definitely the most badASS means of disposing enemies.

Dragon break means they can essentially put whatever ducktales they want and it might not even be real, plus it's set in the first era or whatever and therefore is irrelevant. We're in the 4th-5th. Its like Enterprise. No one gives a fuck

Harsh gameplay experience aside, I kinda wish I was a bit more invested in the elder scrolls lore so I could make an informed judgement on ESO's writing in general.  At the very least, there was definitely no shortage of history books and shit lying around, and the characters I encountered weren't typical mmo levels of brain dead.

RPG threads are definitely super fucking terrible now that all you guys have been replaced by the moe and waifu brigade, I remember even people like Stump and Ghaleon and Drinky and NichM used to participate sometimes and now it's just Mr. Japanese Culture Expert and I wanna shoot myself.

Cyrodiil in ESO is just a dumb huge 2000 player RvR battlefield, with Molag Bal controlling the Imperial City via a dark anchor.  This can be a good or bad thing depending on your perspective.

Well, the AI response was dumb, but it played like how I would want archery to play. Sniping from secrecy, arcs to shots,etc.  Hitting a target while its in mid-stride from far atop a distant tower was pretty awesome.

It was a delicious sight to see. The best bit? None of them actually play the game or have played it for an hour or two. I play it a few times a week and you don't have to buy any money packs, but I like that the option is there if I so choose.

There are only three good Metroid titles. Not exactly the most consistent of the Nintendo franchises. Probably one of the weakest franchises Nintendo has had historically in terms of quality and consistency. One Metroid will be average, the next Metroid will be the bomb, the Metroid after that will be meh, after that? Shit. You can't rely on Metroid for quality like you can with Mario, or - for the most part - Zelda.

In my opinion, I'd say it's the most overrated Nintendo franchise, partly because more than half the games are average or alright. It coasts on the fumes of like only a few legitimately great games, which while fantastic, have been eclipsed by Castlevania in Symphony of the Night and Aria of Sorrow. The one thing Metroid managed to do better than Castlevania was a classic 3d entry.
