I prefer 1 to REmake. Remake is too tedious for me (burning bodies, crimson heads). It really isn't fun to play. But it is great for a first time.

Leon should've been in MVC3 instead of Chris. Cap them in the knees with crumple into a weird non-command grab suplex. Could have Ashley in some supers/moves like PW and Maya.

you tried the ds port of re1? it adds in all the contoller shortcuts of re4, and has its own remix option to change some other stuff around. i picked it up on a whim and ended up playing through it like 4 times. game is a blast when it cuts down on some of the tedious menu stuff.

I forgot Code Veronica! Deffo the worst RE. Game is straight up shit. Sup 40 minute gaps between save points. Sup shitty enemies like Bandersnacthes. Sup shitty bosses like the Tyrant on the plane where you have to use ALL YOUR AMMO ON IT. Sup Steve Burnside aka worst RE character!

Shit game and any RE fan who holds it in esteem is fucking loco including CVXfreak. Don't give a shit, CV is straight garbage.

2 is the best of the classic games. Love that game so hard.

I'm gonna buy it during the sale, but last time I tried it I got stuck on the plane with no ammo, then swore off the series...until 4 came out, of course.

Go for the Wii version, it supports real controllers and you'll get the PS2 extras with it. and it might run better in Dolphin.

that upres'd is basically the console HD version. except you get to add anti-aliasing, which Capcom couldn't be assed to do for the HD version

beating this game tonight

PS3 port ain't so bad, only saw a few inconsequential frame drops, and it could use AA, but the audio is pretty terrible.
