The two big new games that Zelda beat are Evolve and The Order: 1886. Evolve came out on Feb. 10, while The Order only had a week of sales after debuting Feb. 20. While both made the top 10, it feels like both didn’t perform as well as they should have. The Order was hammered with critical reviews, which likely hurt its sales.

Eh the problem is, kinda like the new MacBook, the 2010 air is just not a very good computer. The second rev is significantly better, which is pretty standard op when Apple does a new product.
I will never understand the fascination with Sonic.

These threads are always so sickening.

These are the kinds of threads that bring out the most loudest most obnoxious individuals. These people complaining have no one to blame but themselves. This is clearly not a Sony customer support issue. This is an individual issue. If I was customer support helping a user who was utilizing a service for the company I worked for with the claim, "I got hacked, so and so spent $600 using my card tied to my account, I want my money back", then I probably couldn't care less.

The fact that user is claiming they got "hacked" is the first flag. If you weren't hacked through the service my company is providing then it sure as hell isn't my problem. The compromise is usually done through other methods that Sony/PlayStation Network doesn't have any control over and is directly controlled by the user. If you can't practice basic security measures for your online person then you have no business being online. Not only that, but Sony encourages best practice when signing up:

Password Requirements

* Between 8 and 30 characters in length
* Must contain at least one letter and one number
* Cannot use repeating characters (e.g. aaa64135, 111bcxjk)
* Cannot match your Sign-In ID (e-mail address)
* Passwords are case sensitive

Tips for Stronger Passwords

* Do not use a word found in the dictionary
* Use a mixture of letters, numbers and special characters (e.g. h37@f3-2)
* Use a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters
* Use supported special characters (e.g. !, @, #, $, &)
* For a strong and easy to remember password, create a personal acronym
* Use a different password than your other online accounts

(Verbatim Sony Policy)

If said individual was so concerned about the money that was lost and thought for second, they would immediately raise a dispute with their bank. Last time I checked, Sony doesn't run your bank. Do you actually think Sony has some kind of fraud protection service running within PlayStation Network? For the most part, these charges probably don't even raise a flag because daily revenue on PSN is millions of dollars.

This isn't a policy that just Sony implements, but rather a general practice by any major online service provider including Microsoft and Nintendo.

i will never understand shit like this

This man has like 200 platinum trophies... Maybe take all that money spent and buy health insurance? Isn't he always in deals threads buying games and shit? Idk how anyone can fund someone who has shown no desire to help themselves when they are able bodied and can do so.  In the time he spent platinuming 200 games, he could have accomplished so many good and positive things in life, yet he spent them in front of a gaming system.  He should sell all of his games and PS3 to fund himself.

Yeah he went through some freakout of sorts when some anti illegal immigrant law was passed in Texas awhile back, although he lives in New York.

I work with a dude who is similarly large and has a lot of health problems, but he has a green card and is gainfully employed, so yeah.

Yeah, it's true. The cost of an operation I had would've been ~$9,000 without insurance. (That's for the equipment, anyway. Then throw in an additional $3,000?) Speaking of which, to upgrade the equipment, it's $900 without insurance which said insurance won't cover because it isn't "medically necessary." So... yeah, US healthcare system is all sorts of fucked.

Shit is crazy.  I had to have an endoscopy a few months back and I think without health insurance, it would have been $6,000 or more.  That's just a procedure where they feed a camera down your throat to check your stomach.  No surgery or anything needed.  My shitty health insurance at the time ended up making me pay a good $1,000 of that.  Maybe that's normal, but my company changed (back) to a better provider and I bet it would have been less with them.

Probably not enough for his medical bills.

There's a lot of landlords that are just scraping by since it's honestly a terrible investment if you leverage it due to the high taxes and such and maintenance.

Yeah I had to get multiple surgeries after a motorcycle accident and was given the boot after two weeks. That's with insurance too, most hospitals will boot someone without insurance much faster. The whole thing is fishy, but it got locked anyway.

I'm not defending him or his choices. I'm just saying being a landlord in and of itself doesn't mean you have positive cashflow.

But yeah I remember this dude would post his huge Black Friday hauls, buy tons of games and play them to death in terms of hours logged, eat tons of garbage junk food and brag about that.

They do, but i believe they technically shouldn't? There was a kerfuffle a bit back where there was issue with The Home Office going through medical records to track down illegals.

I've used this analogy many times that American healthcare is sorta like going to Best Buy, finding the closest clerk and saying "I have no idea what I need, but I'm not going to leave until you say what I've bought is OK and you can charge me whatever you like. Please tell me what I need."

The difference between Belkin and monster, though small, was also 43 dollars. Monster cables are pretty much like you putting on 3 coats when it's cold outside versus one actual coat made to contain your body heat.
