Now it is a religious experience that requires allegiance. That's the new game - with us (intelligent) or against us (biased troll). Not even sales numbers or scores are part of the game unless it supports The Narrative.

The dude was a total tard, had a Mario avatar and used to come up with some insane theories about how the Wii had secret ports that could be used to expand it to be more powerful than PS3 and 360. He dug all his theories deep from within the crevices of his anus, of course. This is what gaming GAF has turned into. Nintendo's got them on such powerful Stockholm Syndrome shit that all the nintards turned into Dr. Tre.


I mean, they have an 80 (or 40 if you want to be all  ) page thread on how the NX is twice as powerful or whatever when it's plugged in, all based on one sentence in the Eurogamer article that says it has a dock to plug into the tv.

Probably the best message from a game designer to an audience I've ever seen. Captures all the emotions of making something for a giant group of people to consume and just hoping they'll enjoy the journey as much as you've enjoyed putting in the work to make it for them. Touching, poignant, and frankly makes me a little jealous because I've always wanted to visit the Australian Outback, which I assume at this point is basically as varied as 18 quintilian procedurally generated planets.

All of this could have been avoided if they didn't push this as some huge 60 spacebuck release, but instead a high profile 30 buck indie title.

That said I'm sure its worth it money wise to get rabid kids to fork over 60 first.

I'll happily pay 20 at the Xmas sale, after 10 content and QOL patches that should improve the game to 7/10 or something.
