Are you black? Trump considers you sub-human and there's a very real chance you could be swept up in his internment camps.

Trump's not going to stop at deporting illegal immigrants. He believes racial profiling works and that white police officers could stop the "thug" gun problem within twenty-four hours after he takes office. The people he can't outright kill or deport are going to be rounded up and sent to internment camps.

If Republicans maintain their majorities in Congress, in state legislatures, and governorships, you can kiss the Voting Rights Act, the Civil Rights Act, same-sex marriage, rights for women, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, and freedom of assembly goodbye.

Is Hillary the best candidate for which we could hope? No.
Is the alternative a significant threat to roughly forty percent of the country? Yes.

If Trump isn't defeated, if the Democrats can't make inroads in Congress and across the country, Republicans will control the courts and elected offices for decades.

It's super hilarious when people paint Trump as Satan, the guy has such easy to attack and legitimate flaws that it baffles my mind when people would make clowns out of themselves by inventing LGBT and minority concentration camps. All they are doing is making people outside their echo chamber ignore or resent them :yeshrug

And George W. Bush's:
spoiler (click to show/hide)
Quote
Not that George W. Bush needs much encouragement, but Sen. Lindsey Graham suggested to Attorney General Alberto Gonzales a new target for the administration's domestic operations -- Fifth Columnists, supposedly disloyal Americans who sympathize and collaborate with the enemy.

"The administration has not only the right, but the duty, in my opinion, to pursue Fifth Column movements," Graham, R-S.C., told Gonzales during Senate Judiciary Committee hearings on Feb. 6.

"I stand by this president's ability, inherent to being commander in chief, to find out about Fifth Column movements, and I don't think you need a warrant to do that," Graham added, volunteering to work with the administration to draft guidelines for how best to neutralize this alleged threat.

"Senator," a smiling Gonzales responded, "the president already said we'd be happy to listen to your ideas."

In less paranoid times, Graham's comments might be viewed by many Americans as a Republican trying to have it both ways -- ingratiating himself to an administration of his own party while seeking some credit from Washington centrists for suggesting Congress should have at least a tiny say in how Bush runs the War on Terror.

Plus, there was that curious development in January when the Army Corps of Engineers awarded Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg Brown & Root a $385 million contract to construct detention centers somewhere in the United States, to deal with "an emergency influx of immigrants into the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs," KBR said.

Later, the New York Times reported that "KBR would build the centers for the Homeland Security Department for an unexpected influx of immigrants, to house people in the event of a natural disaster or for new programs that require additional detention space."

Like most news stories on the KBR contract, the Times focused on concerns about Halliburton's reputation for bilking U.S. taxpayers by overcharging for sub-par services. "It's hard to believe that the administration has decided to entrust Halliburton with even more taxpayer dollars," remarked Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif.

Less attention centered on the phrase "rapid development of new programs" and what kind of programs would require a major expansion of detention centers, each capable of holding 5,000 people. Jamie Zuieback, a spokeswoman for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, declined to elaborate on what these "new programs" might be.

Only a few independent journalists, such as Peter Dale Scott and Maureen Farrell, have pursued what the Bush administration might actually be thinking.

Scott speculated that the "detention centers could be used to detain American citizens if the Bush administration were to declare martial law." He recalled that during the Reagan administration, National Security Council aide Oliver North organized Rex-84 "readiness exercise," which contemplated the Federal Emergency Management Agency rounding up and detaining 400,000 "refugees," in the event of "uncontrolled population movements" over the Mexican border into the United States.

Farrell pointed out that because "another terror attack is all but certain, it seems far more likely that the centers would be used for post-911-type detentions of immigrants rather than a sudden deluge" of immigrants flooding across the border.

Vietnam-era whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg said, "Almost certainly this is preparation for a roundup after the next 9/11 for Mid-Easterners, Muslims and possibly dissenters. They've already done this on a smaller scale, with the 'special registration' detentions of immigrant men from Muslim countries, and with Guantanamo."
Quote
“The greater question is, what is the government planning to do with mass roundups of people?” said Ruth Conniff, editor of The Progressive magazine. “The involvement of private military contracts in what ought to be public law enforcement matters, that raises all sorts of questions. This should be discussed with Americans out in the open.”

Trump's plans are even worse:

You can bet that there is an "Internment Camp" for LGBTs if Trump is elected. Maybe they will they will all be buried next to the "Trump Wall" that he will force them to build because Mexico broke relations with us and Trump loves cheat or free labor. Question: Is building "Internment Camps, Holding Camps, Deportation Camps, Work Camps and Concentration Camps" part of "Infastructure Re-Building? Wow, what a smart President Businessman he will be. Wallls, Camps, executions in Times Square.....what a genious President this guy will be. I hear that now there will be enough jobs that every "White American" can work three jobs a day! We will all be rich! What a nice guy this new President wil be! And I love the idea of tearing down the Statue of Liberty and melting it down to make bullets for our "Newly Formed Personal Body Guard" for President Trump. His idea to close our borders to all but "White People" was a stroke of genious but the best idea ever was putting all of the Native American Indian Population down in the state of Texas. Now we have plenty of "White Room" as Trump calls it....to grow! We can't apreciate it enough, Mr President. Hitler was a midget compared to you!

If spoilers were just out there for the past 65 years your first experience of the hobbit wouldve been different.

Plus the spoiler for BioShock is how bad it falls apart as a game. Not the goofy plot that tries to force itself perpendicular into everything else about the world they're creating bringing the whole thing to a grinding halt pacing wise so you can get randsplained to. (Infinite does the same thing without the randsplaining, so it's probably that alt-right gator, Ken Levine's fault.)

I installed the Remaster when it popped up for free on Steam and then remembered that I don't want to play all of it again cuz that part sucks. Should have installed the 2 remaster.

oh wait, i wanted to do the commentary for some reason because i irrationally like those

I am not a great fool, so I can clearly not choose BioShock Infinite or Burial At Sea Part 1. But you must have known I was not a great fool, you would have counted on it, so I can clearly not choose BioShock 2.

Because BioShock 1 was co-developed by 2K Australia, as everyone knows, and Australia is entirely peopled with criminals, and criminals are used to having people not trust them, as you are not trusted by me, so I can clearly not choose BioShock 1.

Clearly the answer is Minerva’s Den + Burial At Sea part 2.

I honestly prefer forum topics over 80% of podcasts I subscribe to.
What kind of shitty ass podcasts is this guy listening too  :lol

Even setting aside the content quality, can you imagine a forum discussion read out loud ?  :yuck

Is there a easy way to hear GAF posts when I am driving?

Picked up a new CRV last week. I am officially part of the CARGAF. However on the 45-minute daily commute I need my Off-Topic fix. Is there any easy solution I use on my phone? I would pay for a natural sounding voice.

Come on Platy... Women who choose to draw sexy women are "brainwashed". Just can't give women that agency, can you?

People like him (her?) just won't believe it.
You could tell then that 3 independent teams of scientists have studied their brains and behaviour and everything and there is no brainwashing, no "social constructing" none of that, it's just that women can enjoy that too, and they'd likely reply that these scientists were bribed by the patriarchy and lied about the results. It's insane.

Here's a powderkeg waiting to explode.  Platy already all over it with nonsense.

And on page two...FUSE LIT!

So from reading through the thread, it seems like you all have a problem with the female character designs in SFV, yet the males, who can be just as revealing, are fine.

Why is that?

Male power fantasy.  :^)

It is inconceivable to GAF that women might want to play as attractive sexy female characters rather than plain or unattractive women.

It is almost like gaming is supposed to be fun wish-fulfilment and not a college freshman essay.

Do some female characters look completely ridiculous in a immature over-sexed way? Sure. But those are mostly shit games anyway.

Which is why Asian MMOs, world famous for realistic proportions and modest costumes, have an unusually high percentage of female players as far as I'm aware.

On a side note, I recently noticed that quite a few modders responsible for some of the most famous and/ or depraved adult oriented mods for Bethesda games are women - including Caliente.

Nerd girls are pervs, it is known.

No, it's internalized misogyny. Or they only do it because otherwise no one would DL their mods. Take a pick.

I seriously don't know how you can delude yourself in thinking the media is soft on Trump. I'm not a big fan of the Rolling Stone article but he got that part right : Anyone who tries to argue that there's insufficiently vast documentation of Trump's insanity is either being willfully obtuse or not paying real attention to the news. (...) The outrage is all out there, in huge quantities. It's just not having the predicted effect.

Watching these idiots foam at the mouth because someone wants to hold their candidate accountable is hilarious.

When Trump wins, I want meltdowns.  Lots and lots of meltdowns.

The media is blasting Trump full volume every day. Foaming at the mouth intensity.

It is just that his voters don't give a fuck what the media say about him.

The media is seeing the limits of their power and they don't like it one bit.

Trump is a buffoon but that just isn't as important as the media expects it be.

2/3 of people don't trust the media.  There is a huge credibility gap they need to address.  They don't think they have that problem but they do.

They just need to speak louder and more forceful. Get the message out there and stop pussyfooting around. Then things will change, people will see they're on their side again. They don't want the current biased media that tries to play both sides and act like there's some kind of parity, they want a tough minded media that will speak truth to power and say that developers like CD Projekt RED can not get away with not upgrading their titles for PS4 Pro. Using the PC is not an excuse as the experience value is not comparable, the PS4 Pro simply pays for itself in ways that a PC never can.
