Rape allegations made to the police need to be handled seriously and right away. The victim should have access to a counselor right away for support and a rape kit needs to be taken and pushed to get results as soon as possible. I know that is very difficult in some states that have huge back logs, but this is an ideal situation,

No names should ever get out, because it can be hard on the victim and the accused.

And it needs to stop being a joke for men to come forward with rape allegations.

I think that Analiese Nielson video is a good indicator of where we are in society. Her line of "You're going to be on Gawker" dilutes it all so perfectly. People are willing to ruin your life for various reasons, like the woman who accused Connor Obrest.

Not only that, it makes actual rape cases harder to believe for people who were already skeptical.

I once quoted a research paper by the German university of the police on GAF, which found that the majority of all rape accusations, more than two thirds, were made up (roughly half of them completely fall apart pretty much instantly and are retracted before ever going to court). Even the researchers were surprised and disappointed that so many people would lie about something like that - the highest percentage of wrongful accusations of any crime, supposedly. That being said, it's also a crime that very often doesn't get reported in the first place. Still can't believe I didn't get banned for posting that...

Food for thought If you're a good police officer, you aren't included by people saying fuck cops because you're not one of them. You don't take offense to people saying police execute people, and have no accountability because you dont. Like the ex police/lawyers/judges of the national bar association, who are working on solutions for this problem we have. Included in that is my pops. Either the dude is lying or he was forced to get the tattoo while in prison. It's very cliquey in prison. You can't just run solo, you will be pressured into joining a gang. But not just any group. If you're black, you're joining the Bloods or Crips; Hispanics can join a litany of Hispanic gangs that depend on where they're from; and whites will join the Aryan Brotherhood or Aryan Circle. In Texas, there's the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas that has no affiliation with the Aryan Brotherhood. Prison gangs are weird.

I've seen inmates with all kinds of Nazi tattoos hang out with blacks and Mexicans, but I work at a jail. The clique isn't as strong in jail as it is in prison. Once they get to prison, they will be hanging out with their respective gangs almost exclusively.

This is all stuff I heard from inmates and gang intelligence.
