I finally got around to getting Granblue last weekend as the game and pack 1 were ~$60 and it hasn't really grabbed me. game feels kind of...unresponsive? it's like something is not quite right with it, something about it feels off to me, like something isn't clicking. I also kind of expected it to look better? Haven't jumped online yet either, will see how that works out. Story/RPG mode is

although I guess they nailed the gatcha aspect if they were going for it.

to be fair, I have been playing a ton of SamSho lately and I really vibe with that game. I just didn't expect to be as eh as I am on GBFV as I had heard it talked up to UNIB level (less wild animu, more fundamentals). I guess it is, but don't think I like it as much as UNIST or Million Arthur even (I know MA isn't really apples to apples).

Granblue does feel kind of 'heavy' and a bit slow with the way it plays. My biggest problem with the game is that I just can't find a main. Nobody really clicks with me enough. That pretty much never happens in a fighting game so this is kind of a first for me. I haven't touched the game in a while so maybe I should try again.

Can definitely say that I like Samurai Shodown a hell of a lot more. WHEN ARE WE GOING TO PLAY?

Can try and play whenever, I am online on steam loads but rarely ON/available unless the weekend/later in day. EGS name seems to be akalapen, same as steam.

It's just Revelator on Steam. 2 is DLC/update. Though you still need to "buy" the DLC update to get the new characters.

I gave REV2 a whirl last night as hadn't played the PC version much and it looks way better than I remembered.

also may have been kinda harsh on GBFV as I liked the DLC characters more than the main ones I tried...haven't played all yet.

I am playing too many fighters at once send help.

I think it's all the CL-R balance patches included free with late[st] but you need to pony up for final character + colors. eh. I want as my steam rev is just UNIB base but I am not sure I $26 want.

a lot of FG stuff aside from base packs is bad value at moment IMO.

IIRC that was it's price in the Spring/Lunar New Year sale. I got it then for the NICE CHIN-CHINs.

It's one of the best-looking 2D fighting games out there, tbh. Not the best animation, but just crazy-high resolution and image quality.

Would like to get into it more, actually- played a bunch of it local 2P with a friend from out of town when he came for a visit last year and had a blast.
