Today in this totes happened brehs.

So my puppy just permanently deleted everything I care about in the world.

I was on the sofa going through the music I've been working on for the past year and she was jumping all over my lap. Everything was great until to my dismay she bounced all over my keyboard, opening and confirming a permanent delete on one of my most important folders. Making it easier for her is the fact that long ago I had disabled the recycle bin because I figured hey, I'm really fucking careful, why waste time on a recycle bin? It'd worked well for me until now. All she needed to do was hit Delete and Enter.

So she managed to permanently delete my Mixdown folder which contains the WAVs and FLACs of every track I've completed over the past year or so. I almost had a heart attack when I saw the prompt popup with the bar going across and managed to hit cancel before it reached the end but the only thing that remained was an unidentified file titled Mixdown which has since disappeared. Nothing in the Recycle Bin. I tried "restore previous versions" and didn't see anything.

Luckily I should still have all the original project folders that I mixed these tracks from but it's going to take a shit ton of time and effort to hunt them down and export to FLACs and WAVs again.

I'm on Windows 7. Is there anything I can do at this point to restore the lost folder?
