This explains it a better than I could. It's sexist because there is a far lower threshold to what constitutes a mary sue for women than it does for men. The Rey-Luke comparison being pretty apt with how Luke is allowed to gain competence in the force within a short amount of time while Rey apparently has to have a Rocky style montage before she can do anything with it.

Luke got the shit on the entire movie and had one of the best Jedi ever as his teacher.

Rey somehow knew how to do the mind trick out of nowhere and all this other shit despite not even meeting another Jedi.

I can't speak to whether Mary Sue is a sexist term or not, but in terms of Star Wars, there really isn't a comparison.

It's pretty old fashioned, even in French I'd argue, apart from the use in "near east" and "middle east". Heavy use of it is clearly something you'll find in a more colonialist, Eurocentric context (like Grousset tales of the Crusades, the Orientalism fad in the arts or Marx clumsy ramblings). Not a slur per se but so vague to be mostly useless anyway.

It's quite a thing how GAF is laser focused and how the law fails black people but has it's moments of "why isn't he in jail?" "Can't the judge just say . . . ?"  "He said this, why don't they just arrest him?"  That and the terrible record of predicting who will be found innocent or get pardoned (by Trump) has you realize that mastering 1/12th of a subject is worse than learning the basics overall.
